About PosTerBooK

PosTerBooK is a small curated cinema paper archive/store, collecting original movie flyers, Japanese chirashi, exhibition paper, posters, postcards, and other printed ephemera.

Founded in 2018, PosTerBooK began with a quiet fascination for the printed things that often survive at the edge of film and exhibition culture — small handouts, theatre flyers, museum paper, and posters made for circulation rather than permanence.

These pieces were never meant to last forever. Some were picked up at cinemas, some passed through exhibitions, some folded into daily life for a brief moment before disappearing. To us, they are small records of how films, images, artists, and audiences once met.

Each item is photographed and described individually. We try to note its format, origin, condition, and the context around the film or exhibition it belongs to. PosTerBooK is not only a shop, but also a slow-growing archive of cinema paper and visual culture.

Based in Beijing, we collect, document, and ship original printed materials to buyers around the world.
