Shipping & Packaging

Each order is packed by hand at the PosTerBooK archive in Beijing.

Most items at PosTerBooK are small-format paper pieces — movie flyers, DM flyers, exhibition flyers, postcards, and other printed ephemera. Because these items are delicate and meant to be kept flat, packaging is handled with care before dispatch.

Order processing

Orders are normally handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days after payment. Orders are prepared Monday through Friday. We often process orders on weekends as well, but weekend handling is not guaranteed. The delivery estimates below begin after the order has been handed to the carrier.

Packaging

Small-format paper items are shipped flat whenever possible. Each piece is placed inside a protective plastic document folder, then reinforced with rigid cardboard to help prevent bending and corner damage during transit.

Larger posters may be shipped rolled in a tube when the format requires it. If this applies, it will be noted on the product page.

Shipping options

We currently offer two customer-facing tracked shipping options at checkout:

Standard Tracked Shipping

A more economical tracked option for most small-format paper items. Depending on the destination and current route availability, this may use China Post Registered Mail, YunExpress economy service, or another comparable tracked service.

Priority Tracked Shipping

A faster tracked option for customers who prefer shorter delivery times. Depending on the destination and current route availability, this may use China Post EMS, YunExpress priority or fast service, or another comparable tracked express service.

The carrier used for a specific order may vary. Final shipping options and prices are confirmed at checkout.

Free shipping thresholds

Free shipping thresholds vary by destination. The exact threshold amount qualifies, so an order of US$39 or more qualifies where the threshold is US$39.

Delivery times are estimates only. Customs processing, holidays, weather, airline capacity, and local postal handling may cause delays.

Combined shipping

Multiple paper items can usually be combined in one shipment when they can be safely packed together. Shipping rates are calculated by destination and order weight at checkout.

Customs and import taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or local handling fees. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless checkout explicitly states that they are collected at purchase.
